Then and Now — 1934 & 2022 — 116 9th Ave NE (was 110 9th)

This home was built by Fred Dillman, contractor who pulled the permit in 1925 for the building cost of $10,000. The first few owners were Charles Ira Smith, owner of Smith Roofing Co. and his wife Hilda who lived here from 1926 – 1930.

Alfred Siviter

From 1930 to 1932 the house was owned by Alfred Clarke Siviter and his wife, he was manager and later owner, of Harrison hardware. From 1932 to 1933 the house was owned by Mrs. Maude Fahrney who ran it as a rest home for the elderly.
